Christine and Michael held the most unique and intimate ceremony in San Clemente at the Historic Casa Romantica which overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the heart of San Clemente Beach and pier.
There was no wedding party, and the couple arrived together at the site, and greeted the guests for cocktail hour! Their Island themed wedding was accented by Steel drum musicians and gorgeous flowers arrangements and coordination by Red Orchid http://www.redorchiddesign.com/.
After the cocktail reception, the guest were invited to dinner before the ceremony! After dinner, the guests moved out to the outdoor seated area where the ceremony took place. The ceremony ended just as the sun touched the pacific, and was followed by a champagne toast with a magnificent view.

My Assistant captured this shot above of Christine walking down the isle with a great sun flare- go Kristin!

I love this shot of the toast, the silhouettes of the bride and groom.

Congrats to Sasha and Craig who had their destination wedding up in Lake Tahoe! The put us up in the coolest hotel CalNeva, on the border of Ca and Nevada- and I hit the nickel slots!

Sasha, the beautiful bride

Sasha and the ladies.

We were on our way back to the elevator in the hotel after taking shots with the girls, and I spotted this cool dramatic light from above, and Sasha struck this pose like a true pro!
The Groom, this location was just steps away from the beach were the ceremony took place, lucky me with this cool location!

Sasha was accompanied by her mother down the isle, I love the way the sun just illuminates their faces, and highlights that warm smile that Sasha wore!
Fish eye view of the ceremony

Right after the ceremony, I love the smiles captured in this candid image, and Craig getting used to the ring on his hand!

How awesome is Sasha?! I had my own place card and was a seated guest!
View from the reception venue.

Te reception venue, Gar Woods, had such a warm glow, as captured in this image of the first dance. I love the way their foreheads are touching softly together, and the guests in the background watch this touching moment unfold.
During the bridal party dance, the group spontaneously joined hands and surrounded the couple.

Congrats to Stephanie and Kellen who tied the knot at Pacific edge in Laguna Beach, it was a beautiful sunny so cal day. This shot above is the view from the site.
The site has three levels, this shot was from the top level, there was a cool fire place grate, so I decided to use it as a backdrop for a different type of shoe shot.

Stephanie prepping for her “dive” into the big white dress.

We lucked out with this white backdrop- great contract with the guys dark suits.

Kellen used his mad skills to create this original wood arch for the couple to stand under during the ceremony.
He even carved their initials and wedding date.

After the ceremony, the couple were showered with bubbles.

It was such a warm day, the girls ran to the ocean to cool off.

View from the second deck

They had some cool outdoor floods with great colored gels.

The first dance.

A true vision of beauty, the ecstatic bride with champagne in hand.

Congrats to Ann and Steve!
The Church had big windows which allowed for the natural light to flow through and illuminate.
Steve looking ever so cool before the big event!

This shot of Ann above was taken seconds before the ceremony she was stuck in LA traffic and arrived minutes before start time- this shot was in the dressing room under florescent lights!
The church had amazing white walls which acted as a natural reflector and created an even light source
Look at this smile after rushing into her dress in .30 seconds flat!
The Bridesmaids had great energy!

It looks as if we traveled to a far park location, but this was shot steps away from the church- if you are looking for a church to tie the knot check this one out:

Their first dance was really emotional- the lighting made it!
