Congrats to Lauren and Scott, who got hitched at St. Mary’s Church in Laguna, then moved the party to the Sherman Gardens and Library in Corona Del Mar.

They had a fabulous dip after the first dance! well done!

Meet Tom Curran, a great artist, who latest work will be showcased at the Living Room in Costa Mesa next Month. Tom needed some shots of his art work for the promo piece, and rather than selecting one to showcase I suggested he star in the photos along side all his work.

Meet Christopher Gavin, who you can see on the Discovery Channel in November. He will be part of the going “green” show. We shot these here in the studio using natural light. The image of Chris in the brown shirt was the first shot we took, and that was the winner for his headshot choice!
I love the way his face is only lit on one side, mysterious!

I am back with weddings! It has been such a crazy busy summer and I am super stoked to share the images with you from Wendy and Derrek’s wedding! I love this couple, they smiled the entire day!
This is the beautful bride, this was taken in the hotel suite where she was getting ready, using avaialable light. I love the combo of red, black and white. The smile you see on her face never left the entire day.
The location had beautiful trees, look at the way the sun illuminates her veil.
The groom! Look at that smile!

Was laying down in the grass for this shot, love the fisheye!
Derrek is a certified Yoga instructor and practices Ashtanga, so we had to do a yoga pose!

Christina and Nathan are celebrating their 10 year anniversary! Christina is also a portrait photographer. Here are my faves from the shoot.
Gavin decided he wanted to be the “star subject” of the photo- he just crawled right to me.
I love this image- shooting into the sun gives such a glow and really creates a mood no “strobe” can.

Kristin and Chip flew in from Boston for their engagement session and will be getting married in Laguna in 2008.
I LOVE motion blur!
The sunlight was just peeking through gving the image a warm background glow and lghting the side og Kristin’s golden locks.
I love the contrast of the intense warm sunlight on their faces, and the cool tone of the blue ocean.
